No. 20 Stony Brook hosts Binghamton Sunday

Faceoff: The No. 20 Stony Brook men's lacrosse team will host Binghamton Sunday in the final regular season home game of the season.  The Seawolves will honor their three seniors -- Mike Rooney, Andrew Dorsey and Bryan Judge.  Game time is 1 p.m. and will be shown live on AmericaEast.TV.

Last Time Out: Stony Brook lost to No. 6 Duke, 17-11, before a crowd of 4,860 Wednesday night at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium.  

Rooney registered his second straight hat trick and added two assists.  His third goal of the game, his 36th of the season, gave him 82 points this season, tying John Warrack for the most in school history.

Junior Brody Eastwood finished with two goals and an assist.  His first goal of the night was his 52nd of the season, setting a school record for goals in a season.

Opponent: 
Binghamton enters Sunday's contest with a 4-7 record, recording an 11-9 win over Canisius last Tuesday.  Sean Gilroy, Paul O'Donnell and Zachery Scaduto had two goals apiece against the Golden Griffs.  O'Donnell leads the Bearcats with 21 goagls.  Tucker Nelson has a team-high 24 assists and 33 points.  Dan Mazurek is 85 of 159 from the 'X' with 39 ground balls.  Tanner Cosens owns a 9.26 goals against average and a .510 save percentage. 

Series:
Despite losing two straight to Binghamton, Stony Brook leads the all-time series, 10-5.  Prior to falling in their last two contests to the Bearcats, the Seawolves had won eight straight.
