The Stony Brook women's tennis team wrapped up the regular season with a 6-1 win over UMBC to move to 13-1 on the season.
The Seawolves dominated doubles play, winning 8-1, 8-0 and 8-0, respectively, in each of the three flights.
Senior Polina Movchan (Kiev, Ukraine) and freshman Yana Nikolaeva (Thornhill, Ontario) posted their ninth victory in 11 dual doubles matches and freshmen Kristina Vozniak (Kiev, Ukraine) and Elizabeth Tsvetkov (Brooklyn, N.Y.) remained undefeated at 7-0.
Movchan won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 singles to lead the team.
Tsvetkov, sophomore Nadia Smergut (New York, N.Y.), sophomore Adey Osabuohien (Hazel Crest, Ill.) and junior Louise Badoche (Paris, France) each posted straight-set singles wins.
Tsvetkov and Badoche each captured their team-leading 12th singles wins.
Stony Brook will be the top seed at the America East Championship, beginning Friday at Binghamton.
