Scouting the Big Red
Cornell comes to town in search of its third-straight win after victories over Youngstown State and Canisius. The Big Red is 3-2 away from Ithaca this season.
Nia Marshall leads Cornell at 13.8 points per game and is one of three Big Red players averaging double-figures in scoring. Marshall is also the team's leading rebounder, grabbing 7.0 boards per game. Megan Leduc is second in the Ivy League with 2.4 made three-pointers per game.

Friday is the fourth meeting between the Seawolves and Big Red in the Division I era, with Stony Brook having taken two of the first three.

Kori Bayne-Walker had a team-high 15 points, while Christa Scognamiglio chipped in six points, 12 rebounds and three blocks as the Seawolves downed Cornell, 58-49, in Ithaca, Dec. 4, 2015.
Stony Brook vs. the Ivy League
The Seawolves are 20-16 against the Ivy League and have defeated all eight members of the conference at least once. Stony Brook went 3-1 against the conference last year with victories over Columbia, Cornell and Harvard.
Scouting the Kangaroos
UMKC stands at 5-7 after a 64-59 loss to La Salle in Philadelphia Wednesday night. The Kangaroos look to snap a four-game slide Saturday before entering WAC play.
Samantha Waldron leads UMKC with 15.6 points per game and is shooting 44-percent from beyond the arc. The Kangaroos are the highest-scoring team in the WAC at 67.6 points per game.

Saturday marks the first all-time meeting between the Seawolves and Kangaroos.
Stony Brook vs. the WAC
The Seawolves have never played any of the eight current members of the WAC prior to Saturday's meeting with UMKC. The WAC was an FBS conference through the 2012-13 season before adding six of its current members, including the Kangaroos.

Davion Wingate scored 21 points and Aaliyah Worley added 12 as the Seawolves fell to Indiana, 74-60, Dec. 21 at the Florida Sunshine Classic. Wingate was named to the event's all-tournament team.
Wingate Earns AE Honor
Sophomore Davion Wingate was named America East Co-Player of the Week Monday after she averaged 23.0 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game and 3.0 steals per game in two contests at the Florida Sunshine Classic.
Bayne-Walker Approaches Program Assist Record
Senior Kori Bayne-Walker ranks second in program history with 387 career assists. The Seawolves point guard enters Wednesday 30 assists shy of Mykeema Ford's all-time record of 417 set in 2007. Bayne-Walker is also the Seawolves' active scoring leader with 820 points.
Three Stats on Christa's Threes
Senior Christa Scognamiglio hit a career-high six three-pointers in the Dec. 11 win at CCSU, passing Dani Klupenger for fourth in program history in career made three-pointers with 116.
The six threes were tied for the fourth-most in a single-game in program history, and the most since Mykeema Ford hit a program-record seven three-pointers at Boston University, Jan. 28, 2004.
Next on the career list for Scognamiglio - who enters Friday with 120 career treys - is Kelly Watson, who drained 123 trifectas from 2003-07.

Sophomore Davion Wingate is 30-for-30 fom the free-throw line this season, making her one of two players in the nation who is perfect from the line while making at least 2.5 free-throws per game.
