Seawolves Outlasted at Albany
Stony Brook went 23-of-25 from the free-throw line, but Albany pulled away late for a 64-54 victory over the Seawolves Jan. 7. Christa Scognamiglio and Aaliyah Worley each had 13 points.
Bayne-Walker Approaches Program Assist Record
Senior Kori Bayne-Walker ranks second in program history with 411 career assists. The Seawolves point guard enters Saturday six assists shy of Mykeema Ford's all-time record of 417 set in 2007. Bayne-Walker is also the Seawolves' active scoring leader with 868 points.
Bayne-Walker's 411 career assists are the second-most among active America East players, trailing only the 415 from UMBC's Taylor McCarley.
The senior point guard's 4.7 assists per game this season rank second in the America East.

Capitalizing from the Line in the State Capital
Stony Brook was 23-of-25 from the free-throw line Jan. 7 at Albany. The 92-percent mark was fifth in the nation this year among teams that attempted at least 25 free throws in a single game.
Three Stats on Christa's Threes
Senior Christa Scognamiglio passed Kelly Watson (2003-07) Jan. 7 for third in program history with 124 made three-pointers.
Scognamiglio's six threes at Central Connecticut (Dec. 11) were tied for the fourth-most in a single-game in program history, and the most since Mykeema Ford hit a program-record seven three-pointers at Boston University, Jan. 28, 2004.
