STONY BROOK, N.Y.- The Stony Brook women's indoor track and field team will run at the Fastrack National Invitational, hosted at the Ocean Breeze Track and Field Facility on Staten Island. Events begin at 2 p.m. 

Coach Ronan's Thoughts
"The Fastrack meet tomorrow will serve as the final tune up for the America East Championships in 2 weeks. It is an opportunity for the  athletes in both squads to improve seeds times/performances, sharpen there racing skills and for some, one more opportunity to secure a spot on the bus for the conference championships," said head coach Andy Ronan.

Last Time Out
The Seawolves competed at the Metropolitan Championships on Friday, hosted at the Ocean Breeze Track and Field Facility. Stony Brook had 13 top eight finishes in events, which was highlighted by Alyssa Oviasogie (Buffalo, N.Y.) winning the Pentathlon. With the victory, Oviasogie became the program's first Metropolitan Champion in the event. 

Oviasogie Earns Weekly Honors 
On top of becoming the program's first Metropolitan Champion in the Pentathlon, Oviasogie was named America East Female Field Performer of the Week. The 3296 points she earned in the event were a conference best.
