PRINCETON, N.J. — Stony Brook women's track and field wrapped up its regular season on Friday and Saturday at the annual Larry Ellis Invitational in New Jersey. During the two-day event, the Seawolves recorded three top-eight finishes.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Danielle Cirrito recorded a placement of sixth overall in Saturday's 1,500-meter event, setting a new PR with a final clocking of 4:29.92.
- Shaylen Goslar earned an eighth-place finish in the 1,500-meter run on Friday. Her time of 4:22.84 was a new PR for the sophomore.
- Grace Weigele picked up an eighth-place finish in the 5,000-meter (16:06.29).
UP NEXT
With the regular season now in the rear view, Stony Brook will now turn its attention to championship season, which will begin on May 15-16 at the CAA Outdoor Championships in North Carolina.
