ELON, N.C. — Stony Brook women's track and field competed at the 2026 CAA Outdoor Championships on Friday and Saturday in North Carolina, earning 12 points throughout the two days' worth of competition, which was good for a 10th-place overall finish.
Grace Weigele recorded the best performance for the Seawolves, capturing a silver medal in the 5,000-meter event.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Weigele produced a strong run in the 5,000-meter, finishing in second place, earning herself a silver medal and scoring eight points for Stony Brook with a final clocking of 17:27.33.
- Shaylen Goslar finished fifth in the 1,500-meter (4:26.36), scoring four team points in the process.
