Three Former Seawolves Earned MLL All-Star Roster Spots

BOSTON – Three former Stony Brook men's lacrosse players were named to the 2019 Major League Lacrosse (MLL) All-Star team.

Kevin Crowley and Ryland Rees earned roster spots on the Team FIRE, while Justin Pugal was a member of the Team ICE. The game was played in Annapolis on July 27.

Team ICE bested Team FIRE 16-15 in overtime.

Crowley finished his Stony Brook career in 2011 after being named a two-time USILA All-American. He is a current member of the New York Lizards.

Rees was the 2019 America East Defensive Player of the Year and a first team All-Conference selection in both 2018 and 2019. Pugal was a 2019 first team All-America East selection. The duo finished up their Seawolves careers in 2019 and are both LSM for the Boston Cannons.
