STONY BROOK, N.Y. — The Stony Brook women's lacrosse team has won seven straight America East titles and owns a 42-game winning streak against conference opponents.

So, no surprise, the Seawolves were the unanimous selection for first place by the league's coaches in the preseason America East poll released Tuesday.

Stony Brook is ranked sixth nationally in the IWLCA Coaches and Inside Lacrosse polls and fifth in the Nike/US Lacrosse poll.

Here is the predicted order of finish in America East, with voting point totals:
