Kerry Smith cannot help be enthusiastic about her team's strides.
The Seawolves lost to host Binghamton 171-129 on Sunday afternoon. But the Seawolves posted several victories.
Freshman
Mary Kate Conway won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:55.08 and 500-yard freestyle in 5:09.34.
Reagan MacDonald won the 100-yard backstroke in 59.45 and 200-yard backstroke in 2:09.10.
Maddy Enda won the 100-yard butterfly in 58.80 and the 200-yard butterfly in 2:10.27.
Conway,
Briana Liew,
Emma Waechter and
Lara Youssef also combined to win the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:40.38.
"Today was a big day for the Seawolves," Smith said. "I'm incredibly proud of how the team came together and competed for one another. Each year we narrow the gap of where we are compared with other America East schools. We have a bright future, and today was a big stepping stone for us culturally."
