NEWARK, N.J. — Mary Kate Conway and Madison Enda both completed a strong weekend on Sunday.

Conway finished fifth in the 100 free and then Enda followed it up with a top five finish in the 100 fly to end their debut appearance in the America East Championships with momentum heading into next season.

Finishing in 51.94 seconds, Conway came within 0.61 seconds of the podium in the 100 freestyle, knocking over two seconds off her entry time coming into the weekend. Enda finished close to four seconds quicker than her seed time coming into the weekend, touching the wall in 2:06.36.

She also finished less than a second away from securing an individual medal.

Stony Brook as a whole finished the weekend with 350 points, securing sixth at the meet. They were 28 behind Maine for a top five finish overall.
