PHILADELPHIA — Nicollete Pasquarella made a career-high 11 saves, including eight in the first half, but the Penn offense was able to put three goals past her in the final 10 minutes to defeat the Seawolves 3-0 on Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia.
The Ronkonkoma, N.Y., native made stops on the first 10 shots on frame to keep the game scoreless, but two goals in 160 seconds and three over the final 10 minutes help the hosts pull away for the matinee victory.
Reilly Rich and
Luciana Setteducate were the most potent offensive threats for the Seawolves, getting a couple shots off each but they were not able to find the net.
