RICHMOND, Va. – The Stony Brook men's basketball team will appear on national television for the third time this season.
 
The Seawolves' final regular season conference game against the Cougars on February 25 has been chosen for the CAA's Wild Card selection in its men's basketball television package on CBS Sports Network. Tip-off is now slated for 12 p.m. at TD Arena in Charleston, S.C.
 
Stony Brook has previously appeared on CBS Sports Network on two other occasions during the 2022-23 campaign. The Seawolves first appeared on the network when they earned their first-ever CAA win at Northeastern on December 31. Stony Brook's second game on the network took place inside Island Federal Arena when the squad defeated Drexel in an absolute thriller at the 'Red Out' on January 12.
 
With three games on CBS Sports Network, and eight games on SNY, Stony Brook will have appeared on linear television 11 times during the 2022-23 season.
 
The Seawolves are led by Frankie Policelli and Tyler Stephenson-Moore. Policelli currently leads the league in rebounding and double-doubles and sits within the top 10 nationally for defensive rebounds per game. Stephenson-Moore ranks within the top 10 in the CAA for scoring and currently leads the league in free throw percentage.
