TEXAS – Stony Brook women's basketball graduate guard Anastasia Warren has been invited to the ProHoops Combine being held in Dallas, Texas on Friday, April 1, in conjunction with the NCAA Final Four.

"It's an honor to be invited to the ProHoops Combine. Only 0.9% of women collegiate ball players go pro and I want to be in that small percentage. I'm coming in looking to compete with the best of the best, show that I'm a winning player, an elite shooter, and prove that I'm worthy of the invite I received," said Warren as she shared her excitement on being invited to the ProHoops Combine.

This is an invitation only combine to give the top college seniors, free agents and overseas professionals an opportunity to be evaluated by WNBA coaches and General Managers, foreign coaches and agents before the draft to be held in April.

Warren had a stellar 2022-23 campaign where she was named to the All-CAA First Team and was once tabbed the conference Player of the Week. She ranked fourth in the CAA with 16.4 points per game, Warren also led the conference and finished the regular season tied for 12th in the nation with 94 three-point field goals.

"Annie has worked her entire life for an opportunity to play professionally. I'm excited for the combine, as this is the first step in turning that dream into a reality," said Stony Brook head coach Ashley Langford as she discussed Warren being invited to the ProHoops Combine.

In 23 of 31 games this season, the Georgia native tallied double-figure points, including 20 or more points in nine of those contests. On February 9, she cemented her name in the Stony Brook record book after breaking the career made three-pointer record with her 192nd triple.

The guard became the 19th player in program history to score at least 1,000 points in her career on November 14, 2022. She scored a season-high 30 points, on 10-of-18 shooting from the field, and 7-of-11 from three-point range, which marked a new career-high in three pointers, to lead the Seawolves to an 82-75 win at the College of Charleston on February 17.

She finished her career with 1,453 career points, 466 rebounds, and 231 assists. Over the course of five seasons, she shot 40.4 percent from the field and 35.5 percent from three-point range. She made 222 three-pointers in her career and is the only player in program history to record over 200 made three-pointers.

Warren has racked up a number of accolades through her collegiate career. She claimed the aforementioned All-CAA First Team honor this season. She was tabbed to the All-America East First Team in 2021-22 and All-America East Third Team in 2020-21 and 2019-20. As a freshman in 2018-19 she was selected to the All-America East Rookie Team.

Warren helped the Seawolves to a pair of America East Championships (2020 & 2021) and was named Most Outstanding Player of the 2021 conference tournament after scoring 31 points in the title game versus Maine on March 12, 2021.
