NEW YORK – For the second year in a row, Stony Brook women's basketball graduate guard Anastasia Warren has been named to the All-Met Third Team as announced by the organization on Tuesday morning.

Warren had a standout 2022-23 season where she was named to the All-CAA First Team and was once tabbed the conference Player of the Week. She ranked fourth in the CAA with 16.4 points per game and also led the conference and finished the regular season tied for 12th in the nation with 94 three-point field goals.

Through her collegiate career, she claimed a number of accolades including the 2023 All-Met Third Team honor and All-CAA First Team recognition. In addition, she was tabbed to the All-America East First Team in 2021-22 and All-America East Third Team in 2020-21 and 2019-20. As a freshman in 2018-19 she was selected to the All-America East Rookie Team. Following the 2021-22 season, she was selected to the All-Met Third Team for the first time.

In 23 of 31 games this past season, the Georgia native tallied double-figure points, including 20 or more points in nine of those contests. On February 9, she cemented her name in the Stony Brook record book after breaking the career made three-pointer record with her 192nd triple.

The guard became the 19th player in program history to score at least 1,000 points in her career on November 14, 2022. She scored a season-high 30 points, on 10-of-18 shooting from the field, and 7-of-11 from three-point range, which marked a new career-high in three pointers, to lead the Seawolves to an 82-75 win at the College of Charleston on February 17.

She finished her career with 1,453 career points, 466 rebounds, and 231 assists. Over the course of five seasons, she shot 40.4 percent from the field and 35.5 percent from three-point range. She made 222 three-pointers in her career and is the only player in program history to record over 200 made three-pointers.

Warren helped the Seawolves to a pair of America East Championships (2020 & 2021) and was named Most Outstanding Player of the 2021 conference tournament after scoring 31 points in the title game versus Maine on March 12, 2021.
