NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Stony Brook women's lacrosse junior midfielder, Ellie Masera, was tabbed to the IWLCA All-American Second Team, the organization announced on Thursday afternoon.
 
Masera has had a junior season to remember as she was previously named to the ILWomen All-American Second Team last week. Masera has also  already been selected to the IWLCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region First Team, USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American First Team, was named the CAA Midfielder of the Year, voted to the All-CAA First Team, and earned the CAA Tournament Most Outstanding Performer honor after she helped lead the Seawolves to a 19-4 victory over Towson to claim the conference title.
 
In addition to her recent accolades, the junior was named the IWLCA Offensive National Player of the Week for her outstanding performance in the regular season finale against Hofstra on April 28. Masera ranks fifth in the nation in goals (71) eighth in goals per game (3.74), sixth in points per game (5.00), and fourth in shots on goal per game (5.95).
