RICHMOND, Va. - Stony Brook University volleyball sophomore
Kali Moore was named to the Preseason All-CAA team, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
The 2022 CAA Rookie of the Year, Moore also garnered recognition on the All-CAA Second Team and CAA All-Rookie Team following a freshman campaign that saw her lead the team in kills (310) and kills per set (3.23). Defensively, she registered 253 digs, second-most on the team last season, and 2.64 digs per set. A five-time CAA Rookie of the Week honoree in 2022, Moore ended the season with the fifth-most kills and points in the conference. She became Stony Brook's first CAA Major Award winner in program history and was the first volleyball student-athlete to claim conference Rookie of the Year honors since 2012.

Kristin Belzung. The 2023 campaign begins on the road in Lynchburg, Virginia at the Liberty Tournament on Friday, August 25. The Seawolves host Columbia on Wednesday, September 6 in the 2023 home opener at Pritchard Gymnasium.
