HOW IT HAPPENED

- A 41-yard touchdown pass gave the Black Bears a 28-0 lead by the end of the quarter. SBU responded to open the second with a 47-yard flea flicker, with Case passing to a wide-open Cook for a touchdown.
- Maine responded with a 98-yard drive capped by a 34-yard touchdown pass. Redman's 51-yard touchdown gave SBU its second score of the game, before the Black Bears scored on another long pass to close the first half.
- A two-yard rush and two-yard touchdown reception extended Maine's lead in the second half. Cook hauled in a 36-yard touchdown reception in spectacular one-handed fashion for his second receiving score of the game.
