PRINCETON, N.J.- The Stony Brook women's cross country team continued its lead-up to championship season on Friday, competing at the Princeton Fall Classic.
As a team, the Seawolves placed 19th out of 22 schools. Grace Weigele ran Stony Brook's best race en route to a 22nd-place finish in the 6K. Weigele's time clocked in at an impressive 20:12.1 mark.
Four more Seawolves raced to top-150 placements. Amelie Guzman (103), Ava Carsley (139), Grace Sisson (145) and Rebecca Clackett (146).
Guzman's 21:14.8 clocking was a new career best in the 6K for the junior.
