Kali Moore Claims Final CAA Offensive Player of the Week Honor for 2024 Season

RICHMOND, Va. – After a series sweep over Campbell to conclude the regular season, Kali Moore claimed her third weekly honor this season being named the CAA Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
 
Moore, who currently leads the team and CAA in total kills (463) and total points (524), while ranking top 20 in the nation tallied 38 kills (5.43), 18 digs, two blocks and an assist in Stony Brook's two victories over Campbell to clinch the Seawolves' third straight CAA postseason berth.
 
On Friday, Moore recorded her 32nd career double-double with 24 kills ( season-high .417 hitting) and 10 digs, adding two blocks in four-set win against the Fighting Camels. She then followed up that effort with 14 kills, eight digs, and an assist in their regular season finale victory.
 
The junior outside hitter has tallied more than 20 kills in 11 matches this season.
 
The No. 6 Seawolves return to the court in the CAA Championship Quarterfinals as they take on No. 3 Towson on their home court of the TU Arena on Thursday at 6 p.m. Coverage available on FloVolleyball.
