HAMPTON, Va. – Stony Brook swimming & diving wrapped up its season in the final day of the 2024 CAA Swimming & Diving Championships at the Hampton Aquaplex on Saturday.

The Seawolves got top-20 finishes in the 1650 free and the 200 breaststroke finals and finished top 15 in diving competition.
Â
Stony Brook finished in eighth place with 308 points in the four-day competition. Saturday's competition was the final full-team competition for the 2023-24 season.

Each senior was honored on Saturday. Stony Brook's competing seniors were
Sara DiStefano and
Mary Kate Conway.

PRELIMS
- Aili Talcott qualified for the 200-yard breaststroke finals with a 17th-place flnish in the prelims, touching the wall in 2:20.73.
- Mykayla Lavery led the Seawolves in 1-meter diving at 264.20 over six dives. DiStefano finished closely behind in seventh with a 261.00 score.
FINALS
- Clara Armstrong finished in 17th place in the 1650 free, finishing in 17:28.67.
- Talcott took third in the C finals and 19th overall in the 200-yard breaststroke.
- DiStefano took 14th overall in 1-meter diving, totaling 208.30 over six dives.
- Stony Brook's 400 free relay team of Ashley Chui, Alanna DePinto, Michelle Vu and Mary Kate Conway took eighth place with a 3:27.68 time. Vu swam her 100 yards in 51.45.

Stony Brook will be represented by DiStefano and
Jocelyn Lichwick at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships. The diving championships will be held March 11-13 at DeNunzio Pool in Princeton, N.J.
