NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Stony Brook University women's outdoor track and field team closed out the weekend by competing at the Yale Springtime Classic on Sunday. The Seawolves flexed their muscles in the 3,000-meter dash, taking the top three spots highlighted by Niamh Durcan's first-place finish.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Durcan finished first in the 3,000-meter race (9:57.28).
• Amelie Guzman placed second in the 3,000-meter (9:58.88).
• Miranda Gatto finished third in the 3,000-meter (10:11.82).
• Jasmine Mason Rudolph took second in the 400-meter hurdles (1:04.96).
• Paulina Gasparis placed third in the 400-meter hurdles (1:06.75).

UP NEXT
Stony Brook will return to the track on May 10-11 for the CAA Championships in Elon, North Carolina.
