FRISCO, TEXAS – The Stony Brook University men's basketball team will participate in the inaugural Texas Legends Showcase against the Air Force Academy on December 7, 2024, as announced on Monday.
The neutral site contest will be played at the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas, the home of the Dallas Mavericks' G-League Affiliate, the Texas Legends. Former Seawolves Jameel Warney and Mouhamadou Gueye launched their professional basketball careers with the Texas Legends.
Stony Brook defeated Air Force in the only previous meeting between the two programs in 2008.
Earlier this summer, Stony Brook was announced as a participant in the Marquette Challenge, a three-game round-robin tournament that sees the Seawolves take on Marquette (November 4), Central Michigan (November 7) and George Mason (November 11).
The remainder of Stony Brook's non-conference schedule, as well as the CAA schedule, will be announced at a later date.
