RICHMOND, Va. - The CAA announced its postseason awards on Wednesday, with Stony Brook's Kali Moore taking home First Team All-CAA honors and Ava Zamora earning spots on the All-CAA Second Team and All-Rookie Team.

Moore earned her second consecutive First Team honor after leading the team and ranking second in the league during conference play with 254 kills and 4.10 K/S, as well as pacing the CAA with 4.67 points per set and ranking four in aces with 24 and sixth in aces per set with 0.39. She also finished with nine double-doubles and 14 matches with double-digit kills, including four with over 20 kills, during conference play. Moore was named Named CAA Offensive Player of the Week on November 3 after recording 41 kills along with 24 digs, nine blocks, and two aces in two wins at Towson. She passed a pair of major career milestones this year as well, topping 1000 digs and 1500 kills, becoming just the second Seawolf in the Division I era to do both. On the whole season, Moore totaled 371 kills, 3.91 K/S, 251 digs, 2.64 D/S, and 38 aces.

This is Moore's second All-CAA First Team Honor and her fifth postseason honor overall after also taking home CAA Rookie of the Year, All-Rookie, and Second Team honors back in 2022.

Zamora greatly impressed in her rookie season to the tune of 538 assists , 8.68 A/S, and 24 aces, all of which rank top five in the conference. She also added strong numbers on defense, racking up 127 digs, 2.05 D/S, and 14 blocks, as well as contributing 38 kills on offense. The two-time CAA Rookie of the Week also posted three double-doubles, totaling 52 assists and 14 digs vs. W&M (Oct. 3), 34 assists and 12 digs against Campbell (Oct. 25), and 45 assists and a season-high 19 digs at Towson (Oct. 31). Overall, she ended the regular season with 781 assists, 8.22 A/S, 64 kills, 42 aces, 207 digs, and 25 total blocks.

Zamora is the first Seawolves freshman since Moore to earn both All-Rookie and Second Team All-CAA honors in the same season.
