Caporuscio Claims USA Lacrosse Preseason All-America Honors

SPARKS, Md. — Stony Brook women's lacrosse junior midfielder Isabella Caporuscio was selected to the USA Lacrosse Division I Women's Preseason All-American Third Team.

In 2025, Caporuscio recorded 68 points on 49 goals and 19 assists, along with 82 draw controls, 52 ground balls, and 36 caused turnovers through 21 games this season. In the CAA, she ranked third in caused turnovers per game (1.71), fourth in ground balls per game (2.48), eighth in draw controls per game (3.90), and 10th in shots per game (5.52). Along with her statistical accolades, Caporuscio was named the unanimous CAA Midfielder of the Year, an Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American, an IWLCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region selection, a Nike Lacrosse Media All-American, and a USA Lacrosse All-American.

In total, 74 players from 29 institutions were honored. USA Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans are selected by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors with input from collegiate coaches.

Caporuscio and the Seawolves open the 2026 campaign at home on February 15, hosting UAlbany at LaValle Stadium.
