RICHMOND, Va. — Stony Brook's Hailey Huebner was voted the CAA Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, following a monstrous week against Denver and Johns Hopkins. It marked the second straight week that Huebner claimed a weekly honor from the CAA.

The sophomore from Bethesda, Maryland began the week by registering seven caused turnovers in an overtime win over No. 19 Denver. Huebner followed it up with three more caused turnovers and three ground balls in a narrow setback on the road at No. 9 Johns Hopkins.

Stony Brook returns to action this week with a pair of games. The Seawolves host Rutgers on Wednesday, March 11 (6 pm) before traveling to New Jersey to open CAA play against Monmouth on Sunday, March 15 (noon).
