The Seawolves have won their last two meetings with the Great Danes and will look to win three straight against their rivals for the first time in program history. Stony Brook is 4-2 against UAlbany since 2020 and holds a 12-15 record in the all-time series, which began in 1995.

Stony Brook is coming off a 28-21 road victory over Towson. Quinn Boyd accounted for three touchdowns, throwing for one and rushing for two, while CJ Hester and Seth Sweitzer also found the end zone. DaMario Crawford added a 90-yard kickoff return touchdown, while Khalid Bueno led the defense with 4.5 tackles for loss. Ryan Barrett recorded his first interception of the season.

On Monday, Bueno and Crawford earned CAA Defensive Player of the Week and Special Teams Player of the Week honors, respectively. Bueno leads the FCS with 10.5 sacks and 16.0 tackles for loss this season, while Crawford ranks third nationally with a 36.3-yard kickoff return average.
