RICHMOND, Va. — Stony Brook's
Kyan East (Rookie) and
Collin Williamson (Co-Offensive) earned CAA Men's Lacrosse Weekly honors, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. Both played pivotal roles in Stony Brook's come-from-behind victory at Monmouth on Saturday, the Seawolves' third straight win.
East scooped up four ground balls and caused three turnovers in the 17-10 win at Monmouth. East's four ground balls and three caused turnovers were game-high marks.
Williamson totaled a season-high five points and four goals at Monmouth. Williamson's four goals and five points also led all scorers in the contest, which saw Stony Brook score 11 unanswered goals to erase a 10-6 deficit.
Stony Brook welcomes Drexel on Saturday, April 18 to close out the home portion of the regular season. The Seawolves and Dragons are set for a 3 pm start at LaValle Stadium, streaming live on FloCollege.
