RICHMOND, Va. – Following Stony Brook's three-match sweep over the weekend in the Kristen Dickmann Invitational, Ella Sanders has earned CAA Offensive Player fo the Week honors, while Damisi Osibodu was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Sanders led the Seawolves with 50 kills (3.85 K/S) and finished second on the team with 40 digs over the weekend. She had 10 kills and seven assists vs. Penn, before recording her first double-double of the season vs. Coppin State with a career-high 22 kills to go along with 22 digs, plus a career-high six total blocks. This made her the first Seawolf since October 2024 to record 20+ kills and 20+ digs in a match. In the weekend finale she had another double-double with 18 kills and 11 digs, as well as a .350 attack%. For her efforts, Sanders was named tournament MVP.

This is Sanders' second ever CAA weekly honor after previously being named OPOW last September with Towson.

As for Osibudo, she also earned All-Tournament honors last week after pacing the team at the net with 21 total blocks (1.62 B/S). On top of this she added 20 kills on offense, including a career-high 10 vs. Penn. She would pick up a season-high nine blocks vs. Coppin State the next day, before ending the weekend with six more against Navy.

This is Osibodu's first ever weekly CAA honor.
