Stony Brook, NY - - Regine Lilavois collected a season-high 47 assists and 11 digs as Stony Brook hit .284 to defeat Albany Sunday afternoon, 30-21, 30-25, 30-27 at the SBU Sports Complex. It marked the 16th straight victory for Stony Brook over Albany, which the Seawolves hold a 17-6 advantage in.

The Seawolves hit .417 in game one, collecting 18 kills in 36 attempts while committing three errors. Lilavois had 17 assists in the game, keying a 9-4 run that gave the Pack an 18-12 advantage. Freshman Valerie Maloy collected six of her match-high 17 kills, hitting .500.

For the match, Maloy hit a season-best .333 and also had six digs. The two-time America East Rookie of the Week also had a service ace for the 10th time in her last 11 matches.

Maloy and Rachel Goldsmith were catalysts in game two with six kills each. Maloy continued to hit well, posting a .500 percentage while Goldsmith hit .300. The Seawolves led throughout the game, but could not shake the Great Danes loose until the end. Up 25-23, Stony Brook used a service ace and a kill from Maloy and another kill by Goldsmith to push the advantage to 28-23.

Goldsmith finished with 14 kills, nine digs and four service aces - hitting .310 in the match.

An Albany attack error gave Stony Brook an 18-12 lead in game three, but the Great Danes responded. One of Alissa Gibbs' team-high 14 kills allowed the Danes to close the game to 19-18. The Seawolves answered by scoring seven straight points to put the match out of reach.

Gibbs finished with 14 kills and 12 digs to lead the Great Danes and setter Jill Dombrowski had 27 assists and five digs.

For the Seawolves, Susanne Westing had 10 digs and a pair of service aces.
