Stony Brook, NY - Junior college transfer Malica Jibowu will join the Stony Brook Seawolves women's basketball program when the team begins preparing for the 2000-01 season in September, head coach Trish Roberts announced.

Jibowu comes from Kennedy-King Community College High School in Chicago, Illinois. The 5'11" forward averaged 15 points and 15 rebounds per game as the team captain. She graduated with honors from Kennedy-King, holding the highest GPA on the team.

She attended Mather High School in Chicago.

Jibowu joins newcomers Stephanie Barlett and Danyelle Ingram on the 2000-01 team.
