This Evenings' Matchup
The Seawolves (1-3) return home to host Providence (2-5) tonight. It will mark the first all-time meeting between the two teams.

Scouting the Friars
Providence returns two starters and seven letterwinners from a team that went 3-13 last season.

The Friars are coming off their first win in six tries, a 62-48 victory over Northeastern on Monday.

Providence is led by Kristin Quinn, who is averaging 10.3 points per game, and Brooke Freeburg, who is averaging 10.1 points and a team-best 6.6 rebounds per outing.

Last Time Out
Stony Brook opened the second half on a 22-6 run and never looked back as the Seawolves earned their first win of the season with an 83-66 victory over IPFW in the consolation game of the Coca-Cola Billiken Classic Saturday evening at Saint Louis University. Junior Danyelle Ingram posted a game-high 23 points while freshman Jessica Smith tallied career-bests of 21 points and seven rebounds and earned all-tournament team honors.

Shooting for Two
The Seawolves will look to win consecutive games for the first time since February of last season when they take on Providence tonight.

Stony Brook struggled stringing victories together last season, earning back-to-back wins just once all year after defeating New Hampshire (90-72) and Northeastern (57-55) on February 2 and 5, respectively.

T-Lo Moving Up
Senior Theresa LoParrino continues to move up on Stony Brook's all-time record book in several categories.

The guard moved into sixth place all-time after connecting on her 220th free throw and now stands 34 away from fifth place (Lisa White, 254). LoParrino also moved into third place with a .761 (220-of-289) free throw percentage.

LoParrino ranks in several other categories, including three point field goals (second, 90) and free throw attempts (eighth, 289).
