Stony Brook, N.Y. - Freshman Mykeema Ford earns Stony Brook Athlete of the Week honors after two outstanding performances at the Hawk Classic this week.

Ford was named to the all-tournament team after averaging 21.5 points on 17-of-25 (.680) shooting from the field, including 6-of-10 (.600) from three point range.

Against host Saint Joseph's, the guard tallied 20 points on 8-of-12 (.667) shooting from the field, including 3-of-5 from downtown. In the consolation matchup vs. UNC-Charlotte, Ford netted a game and career-high 23 points on 9-of-13 (.692) shooting from the floor, hitting on 3-of-5 three pointers while dishing out four assists in the contest.
