Today's Matchup
Stony Brook (4-3) looks to rebound from a tough loss last time out when the Seawolves return home to host defending Ivy League Champion Dartmouth (4-0) this evening. The Big Green has won each of the two all-time meetings between the two teams, including a 68-59 victory back in 2001.

Scouting the Big Green
Dartmouth enters tonight's contest having won each of its first four outings to open the season, including an 83-57 victory over Central Connecticut State last time out back on November 30. In those four victories, the defending Ivy League Champs have outscored their opponents by a margin of 23.0 points per game.

Dartmouth is led by Jeannie Cullen's 16.3 points per game, while Elise Morrison (14.0 ppg), Angie Soriaga (12.8 ppg) and Ashley Taylor (12.0 ppg) are all averaging double figures scoring.

Last Time Out
George Washington took a 39-17 halftime lead and never looked back as the Colonials earned a 77-55 victory over Stony Brook on Saturday.

Leading by 22 at the break, the Colonials led by as many as 27 points during the second half, shooting 45 percent from the floor for the game to just 30 percent for the Seawolves.

Sidney Orndorff led all scorers with 15 points to go with six rebounds and four assists, while Mykeema Ford netted 14 points and Jessica Smith chipped in with 12.

Smith Earns America East Co-Player of the Week Honors
Stony Brook's Jessica Smith was named the America East co-Player of the Week in women's basketball for the week ending December 11. Smith picks up the honors after averaging 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals in a 1-1 week for the Seawolves that included a 58-56 upset victory over No. 19 Temple.

Smith posted a team-high 21 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field to go with four rebounds, four steals and a pair of assists in the upset of the Owls and added 12 points and five boards at George Washington.

Ferraro's Streak Snapped at Seven Games
Dana Ferraro saw her double-figures rebounding streak end at seven games in Stony Brook's 77-55 loss at George Washington on December 10. Ferraro, who entered the game averaging an America East best 12.0 boards per game, had reached double figures in seven straight games dating back to last year.

Ford Bounces Back
After struggling through the worst performance of her career vs. Brown on December 4, Mykeema Ford rebounded with an outstanding effort in Stony Brook's win over No. 19/20 Temple on December 7.

Ford, who failed to score for just the second time in her career vs. the Bears, netted 17 points and dished out five assists vs. the Owls. Her play was key all game, but even more so in the second half as she completed a four-point play and hit each of her five free throws in the half to help lead the Seawolves to the upset victory.
