The Stony Brook women's basketball team will kick-off its 2006-07 campaign on Friday night when the Seawolves travel upstate to take on the defending MAAC Champions, Marist. Last year the Seawolves went 20-10 en route to a WNIT bid and the third best turnaround in Division I women's basketball. Preseason All-America East Team members Mykeema Ford and Jessica Smith hope to lead Stony Brook to its first America East women's basketball title. Tip-off is slated for 7:00 p.m. and the game will be broadcast online at www.wusb.fm.
