Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook University women's basketball team travels upstate to face the Iona Gaels in a non-conference game tonight at 7:30 pm. The Seawolves, second in the America East in scoring offense with 68.7 ppg, face an Iona squad for only the third time in school history. The Seawolves beat Iona in their last meeting, a 60-53 win in the 1999-2000 season.

The Iona Gaels are 2-3 on the season including a win over St. John's and loss to North Carolina State in the Preseason WNIT. Iona is led by former Sachem H.S. standout Tina Horvath, who is second on the team in total assists with 15.
