Boston, Mass. - For the second time this season, Stony Brook's Jessica Smith has been named America East Player of the Week, the conference announced today. Smith has also been named Stony Brook Athlete of the Week.

The senior, from Bloomingdale, N.J., scored 14 points and pulled down nine rebounds against Dartmouth. In a win at Central Connecticut State, Smith scored a game-high 25 points, shooting 12-16 from the field. She also added seven rebounds. Smith leads the conference in scoring at 15.8 per game.

The Seawolves return to action on Saturday, December 23 when they host Quinnipiac at 1 pm.
