Stony Brook, N.Y. - Senior guard Mykeema Ford has been named Stony Brook Athlete of the Week. The honor marks the second consecutive week a women's basketball player has received the honor.

The New Jersey native scored a game-high 23 points in an 87-79 victory over Quinnipiac. Ford also had five rebounds, five assists and just one turnover in 40 minutes of work.

The Seawolves are in action on December 30 at 7 pm, when they host St. John's in the last non-conference game of the season.
