The Stony Brook women's basketball team will look to end its three-game skid on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. when they hit the road to take on the UMBC Retrievers in America East play. The Seawolves enter the contest with a 4-9 overall record and a 0-1 record in America East after losing three straight. UMBC enters the game 8-6 overall and 1-0 in America East.

Last Time Out
Mykeema Ford scored a game-high 18 points and Jessica Smith and Leah Getz each scored in double figures but it was not enough as Hartford sustained a comeback from the Seawolves to win, 61-54. Stony Brook came out of the gates cold and did not connect for a field goal for the first 7:45 minutes of the game.
Approaching 1,500
Both Mykeema Ford and Jessica Smith are rapidily approaching 1,500 career points at Stony Brook. Ford currently ranks fourth all-time at Stony Brook with 1,483 points and Smith is sixth all-time with 1,445.
The Streaking Seawolves
Stony Brook is currently on a three game slide and went on a four game losing streak earlier this season. Last year the Seawolves did not lose back-to-back games the entire regular season.
Last Year in the America East
Stony Brook went 12-4 in the conference, losing just once at home in eight games. The Seawolves won eight of their last nine conference games last year and didn't lose back-to-back conference games.
