Mykeema Ford has been named a first-team All-Met selection, it was announced yesterday. The awards will be handed out on Tuesday, April 10 at the Giants Stadium Club in East Rutherford, N.J.
"I'm very proud of what Mykeema has accomplished," said head coach Maura McHugh. "The award is the culmination of her hard work and commitment to team success."
Ford, the America East Player of the Year and first-team selection, finished her storied Stony Brook career with 1,831 points, ranking her second on the school's all-time career scoring list. Ford also holds the school record for career assists with 417.
Ford finished her career, scoring in double figures 39 games in a row which was third among active players in the nation.
