Season tickets for Stony Brook University's 2009 men's lacrosse are now on sale. An exciting seven-game home schedule that features four teams that are ranked among the top-20 in the nation in the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook, including No. 1 Virginia, is set for the turf of LaValle Stadium. Ticket packages can be purchased on-line at www.goseawolves.org or by calling the Stony Brook Athletics ticket office at 631-632-WOLF (9653).

In addition to Virginia, other top-20 teams that will visit Stony Brook in 2009 are Delaware, UMBC and Albany. The Seawolves will open the season with a three-game home stand that starts with Virginia on February 21. Harvard (Feb. 28) and Lehigh (Mar 3.) will follow the Cavaliers to Long Island. Stony Brook entertains Delaware on Mar. 14 before hosting its first America East game on Mar. 28 when defending conference champion UMBC comes calling.

March 28 will be a special date as it will also be the day that Stony Brook hosts its Lacrosse for Autism event. The event this year will feature a lacrosse doubleheader, with Duke and Dartmouth squaring off in LaValle Stadium prior to the Stony Brook-UMBC match.

Stony Brook will close out its home schedule with a pair of America East games under the lights, with Binghamton (Apr. 18) and Albany (Apr. 25) both facing off against the Seawolves at 7:00 p.m.

Both season ticket packages and single game tickets can be purchased online at www.goseawolves.org, in person at the ticket office located in the Stony Brook Sports Complex or by phone at 631-632-WOLF(9653). The athletic ticket office is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.

Single game tickets are $10 for chair backs, $8 for general admission seats, and $5 for seniors, Youth (4-16) and Stony Brook faculty/staff.
