Burnaby, British Columbia - Junior Kevin Crowley (New Westminster, B.C.) of the Stony Brook men's lacrosse team was the first overall pick by the Burnaby Lakers in the Western Lacrosse Association's Junior `A' entry draft last Wednesday night.

Crowley, who was named a preseason All-American by Inside Lacrosse in December, recorded 76 points in just 16 games with the New Westminster Salmonbellies of the BC Junior A Lacrosse League (BCJALL). He then led the league during the postseason with 20 goals and 42 points in 12 games.

Crowley and the Seawolves open the 2010 season at home vs. Siena on February 20 at 1 pm.
