About the Game: Coming off its first win of the season, the Stony Brook University women's basketball team travels to take on No. 18 Ohio State. this will be the Seawolves third all-time game against a team from the Big 10 and its first contest against a ranked opponent since facing No. 2 Connecticut in 2007-08. 

Meet the Seawolves: Junior Dani Klupenger is averaging a team-high 10.8 points per game. The Seawolves are holding their opponents to 47.0 points per game and have not allowed more than 54 points this season.  

Scouting Ohio State:  The Buckeyes are off to a 3-0 start following a 73-50 victory over Howard on Tuesday night. OSU is averaging 73.7 points per game and is out-scoring its opponents by 18.0 points per game. Junior Taylor Hillis is averaging a team-high 19.7 points per contest and senior Samantha Prahalis is averaging 15.0 points per game. Prahalis was named the Co-Big 10 Preseason Player of the Year by conference coaches. Ohio State went 24-10 last season, won their third straight Big 10 Tournament and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the second time in three years. The Buckeyes return three starters from that squad but lost four-time Big 10 Player of the Year and first-team All-American Jantel Lavender to graduation.

Last time out: Junior Dani Klupenger (Aurora, Ore.) hit the go-ahead three with 14 seconds left as the Stony Brook women's basketball team rallied from a 14-point deficit to knock off the Robert Morris Colonials, 42-40, on Wednesday afternoon at Pritchard Gymnasium. It was the first career win for new Stony Brook head coach Beth O'Boyle. Stony Brook (1-3) trailed by as many as 14 in the first half and by 10 at halftime before rallying to within 40-39 on free throw from junior Tamiel Murray (Teaneck, N.Y.) with 34 seconds left. The Seawolves then forced a Robert Morris turnover and following a timeout, got the ball to Klupenger who drilled a three from the right wing to give Stony Brook its first lead of the game. Josette Campbell then missed a jumper on the Colonials ensuing possession but Artemis Spanou got the rebound and was fouled with three seconds left.But Spanou missed the first free throw before missing the second on purpose and senior Whitney Davis (Muskegon, Mich.) grabbed the rebound and ran out
