Meet the Seawolves: Stony Brook leads the America East and is 44th in the nation in scoring defense at 53.8 points per game. Junior Gerda Gatling (Woodbridge, Va.) recorded her first career double-double (career-high 13 points, 10 rebounds) on Wednesday at FDU. She has 20 points and 23 rebounds over her last two games.

The Pirates shot 65.4 percent from the field in the first half and finished with 11 three-pointers. SHU is led by senior guard Jasmine Crew, who is leading the BIG EAST in scoring (19.6 ppg) and minutes (38.1 mpg) and had 22 points and 10 assists against Drexel. Crew has already scored 20 or more points seven times this season. This will be the first ever meeting between the Pirates and the Seawolves. Seton Hall has already played one America East opponent this season, knocking off New Hampshire 61-38 on Nov. 16. The Pirates are averaging just 58.0 points per game but are giving up only 59.8 on 35.9 percent shooting.
