Cambridge, Mass. - Freshman forward Kellie Krueger, of the Stony Brook University women's basketball team, has been named America East Rookie of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday. It is the second consecutive week she has earned the honor.

Krueger tallied 10 points and six rebounds against Fairleigh Dickinson on Wednesday. She also had a season-high three steals and a block in 35 minutes and went 4-for-8 from the field and 2-for-2 from the foul line.

Stony Brook returns to action on Wednesday, hosting Morgan State at Pritchard Gymnasium. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
