About the Game: In search of its second straight win, the Stony Brook University women's basketball team hosts the Youngstown State Penguins on Wednesday in its final non-conference game of the season. It will be the first ever meeting between the schools.

Meet the Seawolves: Freshman Kellie Krueger earned America East Rookie of the Week honors for the third straight week on Monday. Krueger led three Seawolves in double-figures with 14 points in the 65-48 win over Morgan State on Wednesday. The Seawolves continue to lead the America East in scoring defense at 54.2 points per game.

Scouting Youngstown State: The Penguins have won three of their last four and are coming off 78-72 victory over Akron on Dec. 18. YSU has already matched its win total from last season and has won five straight road games. Youngstown State is led by junior forward Brandi Brown, who is leading the team in scoring (15.4 ppg) and rebounding (9.6 rpg). Brown has led YSU in scoring in seven of its 10 games and surpassed 1,000 points earlier this season.  A redshirt freshman, Heidi Schlegel is averaging 11.4 points and 5.0 rebounds per contest and is shooting over 46 percent from three-point range. Senior guard Kenya Middlebrooks is averaging 10.9 points per contest including 27 in the win over Akron. The Penguins are averaging almost eight made three-point field goals per game.

Last time out: Freshman Kellie Krueger led a balanced Seawolves attack with a career-high 14 points and the Stony Brook University women's basketball team used a 12-0 run midway through the second half to defeat the Morgan State Lady Bears, 65-48, on Wednesday night at Pritchard Gymnasium. Krueger added six rebounds for the Seawolves, who shot 40 percent from the field and went 7-for-15 from three. Junior Sam Landers (Springfield, Va.) chipped in with a season-high 13 points and junior Dani Klupenger (Aurora, Ore.) added 10 points and six rebounds.
