Tourney Tidbits
Stony Brook is trying to become the first No. 8 seed to ever win the America East tournament ... the only No. 8 seed to ever advance to the title game was Boston University in 2005 ... the Seawolves made their only appearance in the championship game in 2002, their first year in the America East ... SBU was the No. 7 seed ... this will be just the second America East tournament meeting between Stony Brook and Maine ... No. 9 Stony Brook defeated No. 8 Maine, 64-58, in 2008 ... Jeter had 21 points and 12 rebounds in that game ... this is the Seawolves first time as the No. 8 seed .
