Last Time Out
Seniors Kevin Crowley and Brett Drost each had two goals in a 7-1 third quarter as the #12 Stony Brook men's lacrosse team rolled past Bryant, 13-6, at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium last Saturday.

Crowley finished the day with four goals and an assist for Stony Brook (4-3), which defeated Bryant (3-5) for a second straight year. His five points give him 207 for his career, tops among all active Division I players.

Junior Adam Dahms and seniors Timmy Trenkle and Jordan McBride also scored in the third as the Seawolves took a 10-5 lead after trailing 4-3. The seven-goal output was Stony Brook's most in a quarter this season.

The defense, led by junior Kyle Moeller, held Bryant to just two second-half goals. Moeller had five ground balls and two caused turnovers to lead all close defensemen.

The Retrievers lead the all-time series, 11-5, but the Seawolves snapped a five-game losing streak to UMBC, winning 14-11 last year in Baltimore. McBride (10) and Crowley have combined for 18 career goals against UMBC. Senior Adam Rand has a .653 (66-101) winning percentage at the face-off 'x'.
