Stony Brook, N.Y. -

Preview
The Stony Brook men's lacrosse team hosts New York State and America East rival Binghamton on Saturday night. Matt Mankiewich will broadcast all the action live on GoSeawolves.org. Live video and gametracker also are available at GoSeawolves.org. The Seawolves (6-3, 2-0), who are ranked 13th this week in both national polls, take on the Bearcats (5-6, 1-1), who have played five of their last six games on the road. This is the annual Lacrosse for Autism game, and $2 of each ticket sold will go towards the cause.

Last Time Out
Junior Robbie Campbell scored a career-high four goals and senior Timmy Trenkle added three as the #14 Stony Brook men's lacrosse team rallied past Hartford, 10-8, in an America East game. Campbell scored all four of his goals in the fourth quarter as the Seawolves outscored the Hawks, 7-2, in the final frame. Campbell, who started every game during his first two years, came off the bench to score all four of his goals unassisted. Trenkle tied his career-high in goals for his second hat trick of the season.

Series
Stony Brook leads the all-time series, 7-3, including last year's 17-16 win in Vestal. The Seawolves rallied from a five-goal deficit in the first quarter and trailed by as many as two with 6:31 left in the game. Jordan McBride scored two of the game's final three goals, including the game winner with 2:56 left in regulation.  Since the series began in 2002 with a Stony Brook win, five of the nine games have been separated by a goal.

Scouting the Bearcats
Sophomore Matt Springer, an America East All-Rookie selection last season, leads Binghamton with 22 goals. Senior David Raleigh has 14 goals. Sophomore Tyler Perrelle has a team-high 12 assists. Chris Cook has won 68 of 148 draws and leads the team with 45 ground balls. Kraig Heston has been the Bearcats' primary goalie this season, and his 7.39 goals against average is 10th in the nation going into this week's games.
