A five-goal game against Albany has earned senior Jordan McBride (New Westminster, British Columbia) America East Player of the Week honors, the conference announced on Monday.
McBride, the nation's leading goal scorer among all active players with 161, scored four of his five goals during a 9-0 run as the Seawolves outscored the Great Danes, 18-6, after the first quarter en route to a 23-11 win. His 161 goals are 21st all-time in Division I history.
Stony Brook, which clinched a share of the America East regular season title with the win over Albany, will play at Vermont on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
